Initial Set-up: We can set up your website but why no Do It Yourself at My Website

Set-Up Your Domain: If you want a name like "http://www.yourname.co.nz" we can do this for you (provided "yourname" has not already been taken). Otherwise we can set you up as "http://www.AboutIT.co.nz/Yourname" for no charge.

On-Site Consultation: If you want a general review of what to do then we can offer you general consultation - Minimum of 1 hour - Your place or our place in Auckland - or by phone.

Initial Marketing Review of Copy: Submit copy to Review@AboutIT.co.nz and we will read it and send you commentary on your copy.

Set-Up email: We will provide you with email addresses for your officers or staff. Please allow multiple names for MailTo contacts on your site.

Hosting: We will host your site free until you are fully set-up.

Search Engine Submission: We will submit your site to search engines.

Registration By E-Mail: Allow your site visitors to register themselves. This will generate email and .vcf which can be posted into your own copy of Microsoft Outlook. You do not need a database for this option.

Database: With a database your site visitors can register themselves and be recorded in a database. We provide the processes to handle "Double Opt-In" and "Opt-Out" procedures as required by the Direct Marketing Association. This also means that if your clients log in a second time they are greeted by name - we call this the "Hello Jack" facility.

Administration Update Capability: This facility allows you to manipulate the database above. Typically you can classify a registrant as a "Customer" and then allow them to see pages not visible to unregistered visitors. This usually includes any support services available only to licensed customers. It includes regular reports. It includes passing a file back to you suitable for a mailing of form letters using Microsoft Word.

Moderated Commentaries: Your site visitors can respond to "Add your Comment to this Page" menu items on various pages. Their posts are checked for offensive language and for the first three messages from any registrant. An administrator must Reject, Pass or Modify these messages. Thereafter their messages are appended to the web page and are indexed. Please note that no filtering process is fool-proof.

List Emailing: This feature allows you to prepare an email to send to a selection of your customers. The email can include links to your site and graphics and HTML formatting. Statistics are reported enabling you to track how many clients act on your email.

Page Track and Email: When this feature is enabled you can select registrants based on pages they have recently visited. Then the emailing works as above or can be triggered for each registrant who satisfies the selection criteria "on the fly".

Secure Payment: Link to a site which provides payment (a) Local (b) Foreign currencies.
